Here are all the known IP addresses Microsoft will get from the Activision purchase

Microsoft shocked the gaming world today with the announcement of its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, and it really is a big one. With the deal costing around $70 billion, that’s nearly 10 times the amount of their previous acquisition of Bethesda. That said, if you’re having trouble visualizing it in your head, here are the IP addresses Microsoft can get from this landmark purchase.

The list was compiled from Twitter and includes a number of IP addresses:

  • fall out
  • Caesar
  • Call of Duty
  • candy Crush
  • Crush Bandicoot
  • Diablo
  • DJ hero
  • Empire Earth
  • Gabriel Knight
  • Geometry Wars
  • Guitar Hero
  • Firearm
  • Foyer
  • Heroes of the Storm
  • evil spell
  • Interstate 76
  • King’s Quest
  • Laura bow mysteries
  • The Lost Vikings
  • Monitoring
  • Phantasmagoria
  • Trap
  • detective quest
  • Prototype
  • quest for glory
  • Singularity
  • Skylanders
  • Soldier of fortune
  • space quest
  • Spyro the Dragon
  • Starcraft
  • Tenchu
  • time lag
  • Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater
  • true crime
  • World of Warcraft
  • Zork

As you can see, that’s the whole list. However, outside of its big moneymakers like Call of Duty, Candy Crush, Overwatch, and World of Warcraft, Activision Blizzard has a ton of old IPs that are now severely underutilized. Here’s hoping that outside of those big moneymakers, Microsoft does something about those old Activision Blizzard IPs; God knows we all need another Prototype game.
