IPS Officer Dr. KV Jagadeesh has passed away

Senior Police Officer Dr. KV Jagadeesh, IPS died in Bengaluru on Sunday.

Dr Jagadeesh (44) was from Kolar and joined the Karnataka Police in 2005 after completing his medical degree. He was promoted to senior IPS position in 2012 and held various positions including Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic)

Dr. Jagadeesh had been under treatment for a few years for cancer. He was recently admitted to hospital and breathed his last on Sunday. He is survived by his wife and two sons. Sources in the family revealed that the last rites will be performed at Kolar.
